Wednesday News from St. Patrick’s
Grace and peace to you. This Sunday we will hear Jesus after being turned away tell his disciples how "foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." We are called to welcome Jesus into our hearts, our homes, and our communities. Hospitality is a central Christian practice. We welcome Jesus when we welcome our neighbors. I know us to be a welcoming community to one another. Let's welcome others. You can do so by joining the St. Patrick's contingent at the Palisades Village July 4th parade. Situated on a short street surrounded by schools, we have few opportunities to welcome our neighbors and this is one. We will assemble at 10:30 am. The parade begins at 11 am. We will have water bottles, candy, and stress balls to hand out along the way.
