Grace and peace. This morning, I dropped off clothes for the annual Rummage Sale to benefit the St. Patrick’s Outreach Fund. I hope that you will look in your closets and storage areas for items with which you should part ways and bring them to St. Patrick’s (see information below). Other than the hum of the Rummage Sale collection, it is very quiet here at St. Patrick’s. The Day School is away on Spring Break. We are preparing for Holy Week and I, for one, could use your help. After the 9am service this week, I will be recording kids reading scripture for our Easter service (I not only need volunteers, I hope that some adults can help). I also need help with the reading of the passion story at the 10:30am service on Palm Sunday(April 9). And we will be offering a potluck style meal at the commemoration of Jesus’ Last Supper on Maundy Thursday (April 13 at 6:30pm).
I hope that you are willing to help make the services at St. Patrick’s meaningful during this most holy of seasons (send me an email). I also hope that you will invite your friends and family to join us.
PS. Don’t forget the seder on Sunday evening April 9 (see information below)
