From the Rector
Grace and peace. In just over a week, I will begin a 3-month sabbatical. Most of those three months will be spent in and around Washington. I hope to return rejuvenated in God’s Spirit and ready to take on new challenges. I am so thankful to St. Patrick’s for this opportunity. I am excited to be your priest. This Sunday is the last before the sabbatical period begins. We will celebrate our high school graduates who will soon be leaving for college and with three baptismal candidates who will be welcomed to the family. I do hope to see you there.
While I am away, the Rev. Jenifer Gamber will cover most of the Sunday services. Before she is ordained a priest on June 15, the Rev. Randy Wilkinson, who stepped in for a Sunday during my honeymoon last summer, will return. The life of St. Patrick’s will continue on with the able leadership of the St. Patrick’s staff and your Vestry led by Senior Warden Lalie Tongour. We will continue to gather, serve, and grow all summer long.
Walk in love as Christ loves us,
