Grace and peace. As is often the case in communities like St. Patrick’s, many important things are converging into a very short time frame. That is certainly the case this weekend. At 10am this Saturday morning, Jenifer Gamber, the Assistant to the Rector and Yoimel Gonzalez Hernandez, our seminarian, will be ordained by Bishop Mariann at Washington National Cathedral. At 3pm on that same day, the life of long-time parishioner Mona Hanford will be celebrated here at St. Patrick’s. And then, on Sunday morning at 10am, we will celebrate Episcopal Schools with student groups singing and youth telling us about recent experiences in Haiti. I hope to see you at these key moments in the life of this amazing church.
The Stewardship Campaign got a good start with those who made a pledge by this past Sunday. If you haven’t done so already, please pledge online.
