Join Us For Outdoor Worship On September 13

We are happy to announce that we have been approved by the Diocese for outdoor worship while we await final approval of our full regathering plan. We will share the full text of the plan once we receive this final approval.

Our first opportunity to regather as a parish will be a special outdoor worship service to celebrate Kick Off Sunday on September 13! This service will also be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person.

The service will be held in the East Lot, with seating blocks for family groups spaced 8 feet apart. Masks covering the nose and mouth will be mandatory at all times. If you would like to attend, you will need to reserve a seating block in advance by emailing the parish administrator by no later than Noon the Friday before the service. Spots will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Once a space is reserved for your family, you will be sent a Covenant for Regathering to DocuSign, as well as some additional guidelines. Upon arrival at the church on September 13, you will be required to pass a health screening, including a contactless temperature check. We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes early (at 9:30am) to allow time for check-in without delaying the start of the livestream for parishioners at home.

As part of this service, we will offer Communion via pre-consecrated wafer. Those not attending in person who would like to participate in communion from home are invited to pick up pre-consecrated wafers at the church to store at home (contact the Altar Guild to arrange a pick-up time).

We will do a “test run” of this service on September 6 in order to train volunteers and work out any technical issues, so you will notice that the livestream of that service will look different! If you would like to volunteer to help with these outdoor services, please contact one of the guild leaders listed below.

We invite you to join us during Virtual Coffee Hour this Sunday after the 10am service. We will make a short presentation about how our Kick-Off Sunday service will work, and then be available to take your questions.
