At St. Patrick’s, we know visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating. We want to make sure you feel welcome, comfortable, and loved when you come visit us.
What We Believe
We believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God, one that loves all people—no exceptions.
Together, we follow Jesus as we love God with our whole heart, soul and mind and love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40), and restore each other and all of creation to unity with God in Christ (BCP, p. 855).
The Episcopal Church
The Episcopal Church is a diverse body of people gathered together to share God’s love. Women and men serve as bishops, priests, and laypeople in our church, and laypeople participate as leaders at all levels.
Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe teaches us that “God calls us to place the most vulnerable and marginalized at the center of our common life, and we must follow that command regardless of the dictates of any political party or earthly power…To do so faithfully, we must see beyond the limitations of our tradition and respond not in partisan terms, but as Christians who seek to practice our faith fully in a free and fair democracy.”
Today, we strive to participate in his movement with our whole lives: our prayer, worship, teaching, preaching, gathering, healing, action, family, work, play and rest.
